At that time, as Vice President, I resolved that the building would be restored as a symbol of strength, pride, and dignity. Through constructive dialogue with senior authorities and the cooperation of the Municipal Corporation, an amount of approximately ₹20 lakh was sanctioned. This enabled the construction of two new rooms, installation of a false ceiling in the main hall, and beautification of the entrance with red sandstone, giving the Club a renewed, grand, and distinctive identity.

Recognizing this commitment to development, my fellow journalists entrusted me with the responsibility of the President's office in the elections held on 18 October 2025. This position is not merely an honor for me, but a significant responsibility. Since then, the pace of development of the Club has gained unprecedented momentum. With the support of senior authorities, more than ₹50 lakh has been sanctioned by the Municipal Corporation, laying the foundation for the comprehensive transformation of Taj Press Club.

Under this development plan, the main hall is being upgraded with modern facilities, along with the construction of a new executive committee room, waiting room, canteen, and the reconstruction of dilapidated rooms. Additionally, work is underway on facilities in the upper portion of the building, including a bar and canteen, along with other essential infrastructure. Approval has also been granted for modern furniture and a high-quality sound system, ensuring that the Club is well-equipped to meet future requirements.

Efforts are also being made to establish a well-equipped library containing reference books, official records of events and meetings related to the Agra Division, and a comprehensive information bank covering the geographical and historical significance of the region. This library will also house books related to journalism, along with newspapers and magazines. The Club will be equipped with Wi-Fi facilities, and computers will be installed to enable journalists to work efficiently from the premises.

Taj Press Club is not limited to being a physical structure; it is a center for dialogue, creativity, and social awareness. Grand events have been organized on national and cultural occasions such as Independence Day, New Year, Makar Sankranti, and Republic Day. On the occasion of New Year, for the first time, founders and former Presidents were honored in the presence of public representatives and senior officials, followed by a dinner, paying tribute to the rich legacy of the Club.

The newly elected executive committee is working with full energy, transparency, and a strong spirit of teamwork. In the future, seminars, dialogues, and training programs will be organized to further strengthen the intellectual and professional capabilities of journalists. With a clear blueprint in place, we are confident that Taj Press Club, Agra will continue to move forward as a shining symbol of the dignity of journalism.
